Canadian group arrange London shows...
Neon Windbreaker

Canadian noise-rock merchants Neon Windbreaker have lined up a handful of UK shows.

Oh, Canada...

The Northern nation has (rightly) earned a stellar reputation for its indie output of late, with everyone from Arcade Fire to The Decemberists helping to place Canadian music back on the map.

However out there on the fringes, the country boasts an amazingly fertile scene which flits between noise, punk and electronics.

It's out of this area that Neon Windbreaker spring from. A five piece, the band's music is characterised by volume, ideas and brevity - especially brevity. Upcoming EP 'New Sky' contains a total of five tracks, but the entire document clocks in at just over seven minutes.

Out through We Are Busy Bodies on October 28th, you can stream sample track 'Pink Suit' below.

Neon Windbreaker are set to support Blacklisters at London venue Birthdays on October 29th, before hitting Brighton. Returning to the capital on November 1st, the Toronto band will play the Old Blue Last alongside some extra special guests.

Dates in full:

29 London Birthdays (with Blacklisters)
30 Brighton The Hope

1 London Old Blue Last (with special guests)
