Neil Young and The National are set to play a London show courtesy of Barclaycard British Summer Time.
What's this? Neil Young & Crazy Horse on the same bill as The National? Truly, Hyde Park is spoiling us...
The bill is the work of Barclaycard British Summer Time, a festival which launched this summer with headline sets from The Rolling Stones. A spectacular addition to London's festival season, the weekend long event also grabbed a performance from Bon Jovi as thousands of fans descended on Hyde Park.
Next year finds Neil Young & Crazy Horse headlining, with The National also appearing on the bill. Elsewhere, Phosphorescent are set to take part while Tom Odell, Caitlin Rose and Flyte will also appear.
Tom Odell said: "I'm so excited to be supporting one of my all time heroes, a man that has influenced my music, and so much music that I listen to today. I'm psyched!"
The Barclaycard British Summer Time show takes place on July 12th, with another instalment taking place on July 6th. Sadly, it's a little less Clash-friendly: McBusted - the supergroup featuring members of McFly and Busted - will headline.
Barclaycard British Summer Time tickets go on sale at 9am this Friday (December 13th).
The new issue of Clash magazine is out right now. It's always on the money with breakthrough acts worth listening to. So, go and see.
