Legendary songwriter returns
Legendary songwriter Neil Young will play two UK dates for the summer of 2009, so far announcing shows in Aberdeen and Nottingham.
Still a hugely prolific writer and performer, Young will return to the UK this summer having so far announced two shows and also an eagerly awaited set at this year's Glastonbury, with more festival shows possible.
Young is set to return with a new album 'Fork In The Road' this year, which insiders have speculated may also be a concept album. The talk has led to British broadsheet The Guardian reporting that the album "seems to be exploring three things – dirty blues, direct lyrics, and his LincVolt electric car project."
The title track from the album is currently streaming on the singer's website, with a suitably bizarre video accompanying the track which sees Young lip synching lyrics and wearing earbuds that seem to be plugged into an apple. Strange fruit, indeed.
