My Morning Jacket Single

Jim James' band of sonic space cadets My Morning Jacket have announced that the next single to be taken from their 'Evil Urges' album will be 'I'm Amazed' due out on November 24th.

Stateside sonic wonders My Morning Jacket are one of the most intriguing bands around today. New album 'Evil Urges' was a vast, genre-transcending opus that included plastic funk - 'Highly Suspicious' - with typically ethereal ballads such as 'Sec Walkin'. A potent live act, the band were recently put out of service when Jim James fell on stage, but the singer seems to be on the mend.

New single 'Im Amazed' was one of the highlights of 'Evil Urges', featuring some tag-team guitar interplay and strutting swathes of organ. A euphoric piece of Americana, it is buoyed by one of James' most expressive vocals to date.
