My Bloody Valentine For Benicassim

FIB Heineken (a.k.a. Benicassim) has announced the first confirmed acts for their 2008 event.

They've secured perhaps the most exciting live prospect of the forthcoming year, the reformed My Bloody Valentine. Kevin Shields and co. will appear at the event held over 17th, 18th, 19th & 20th of July. Other names confirmed are Pete Doherty's Babyshambles and The Rumble Strips.

Located in the middle of Valencia in sunny Spain, Benicassim features an international mix of acts in a great location. The first 5000 tickets for the event are on sale from 14th December at a reduced rate for a month and include an incredible nine day camping pass. So, plenty of time to work on your sun tan while you're there.
