Muse To Tour

Rock titans to return

One of the biggest bands on the planet is set to return, with world conquering rock titans Muse set to tour the UK this summer.

A brief statement on the band's website today confirmed that the Teignmouth trio will return in 2009 with a new album and european tour dates to follow, including UK shows.

Muse have been quietly crafting the follow-up to 'Black Holes And Revelations', the album that took them to Wembley sell out status and cemented the band as rock pioneers.

The band will also go on to support U2 on their North American dates, with Glasvegas set to support the band on their summer stadium shows.

Speaking of their new album via their Myspace, drummer Dom Howard has kept fans updated on their progress - to some extent.

The post reads ''We've probably got two more [songs] to record from scratch then we might be almost looking at a complete album. Then strings, synth sparkles, llamas toenails, gongs and anything else we can think of that will help us perceive they [the songs] are finished. The hardest bit is finishing."
