Muse Stream New Album

Listen to 'The Resistance' now!

Returning stadium prog outfit Muse have given fans a glimpse of their new album by streaming 30 second clips from 'The Resistance'.

Muse don't do things by halves. The band's last major UK gig was at Wembley stadium, a spectacular show that ran through their back catalogue and was captured for posterity on their lavish tour documentary 'HAARP'.

Since then the group have taken time off, before beginning work on their new album. Retreating to an Italian mansion rumours emerged off experimenting with three part symphonies, with fans feverishly speculating about new material.

Muse launched a special treasure hunt to find a new song earlier this year. The trio hid clues in cities across the world which, when assembled, would form a new song which would stream from their website.

The band have kept glimpses of their new album 'The Resistance' down to a minimum, however. Muse singer Matt Bellamy recently confirmed an orchestral influence, but also cited glam as a major touchstone for the new album.

Fans will be able to hear thirty second clips from 'The Resistance' right now after the band posted streams on their official website.

The follow up to their 2006 album 'Black Holes And Revelations' Muse are set to release their new record on September 14th. Before then the band are set to play a pair of very special hometown dates.

Taking over The Den in Teignmouth for two nights, Muse will make a triumphant comeback right where it all started.

Muse are due to release 'The Resistance' on September 14th.
