Mumford & Sons Top Last.fm Poll

Mumford & Sons have been announced as the artists most listened to in the UK in 2010 by music streaming website Last.fm.

Compiled by albums 'scrobbled' (Last.fm's term for music listened to, monitored via user profiles) the band, who released their debut 'Sign No More' album in 2009, have 3,186,369 plays to their name in the UK chart with, perhaps more impressively, 11,613,844 in the Global chart giving them the second place behind terrible American pop singer Ke$ha with 15,915,151.

In second place on the UK chart are Scotland's Biffy Clyro with 2,093,427 'scrobbles' of their 'Only Revolutions' album. X Factor winner Matt Cardle's version of their 'Many Of Horror' song (retitled as 'When We Collide) is currently headed for the UK Christmas number one spot sure to give Biffy Clyro a huge profile boost.
