Mumford And Sons Festive Show

One off show confirmed

London's folk pickin' newcomers Mumford And Sons have confirmed details of a one off Winter show.

Emerging from London's closely knit indie-folk scene, Mumford And Sons have some friends in high places. The band have played shows with Laura Marling while Noah And The Whale singer Charlie Fink is a big fan.

Earning a reputation as sterling songwriters in their own right, Mumford And Sons released a trio of stunning EPs last year. Shifting between hip indie labels the band later signed with Island and began work on their full length debut.

Released earlier this year, 'Sigh No More' was a huge success. Just missing out on a Top Ten placing in Britain, the album scored rave reviews as fans swooned to their mixture of pastoral folk and indie sensibilities.

Launching their debut album with a barn dance outside of London, Mumford And Sons are set to play another unusual show. The folk rockers are due to play St. Martin In The Fields, Trafalgar Square as part of a festive extravaganza.

Tickets are priced at £15, and are available only on the band's official website!

Mumford And Sons are set for a busy winter period. The band are due to release their single 'Winter Winds' on December 7th, before heading off for some exotic tour dates.

Taken from their debut album 'Winter Winds' is a sprightly slice of acoustic songwriting, deserving of a release in its own right. After this Mumford And Sons are set to travel to India, where they will play a number of tour dates throughout December.

Mumford And Sons are set to play St. Martin In The Fields, Trafalgar Square on December 2nd.
