Mudhoney To Play London
Grunge titans return
Legendary Seattle grunge outfit Mudhoney are set to play a one-off show in London later in the year.
The four-piece are to return to play the KOKO venue in the capital on the 11th October, a rare live outing for the band.
Packing a slacker-pop punch and with a back catalogue that influenced everyone from Nirvana (check out our Clash Essential 15 on them Here) to Soundgarden, among many others.
The band's early E.P.'s such as 'Superfuzz Bigmuff' were instrumental in forming the foundations for the Seattle grunge scene which would later sweep the City, then the world.
Many of the scene's founding band's continue to tour, with sludge rockers Melvins recently mapping a UK Tour recently and Sonic Youth still going strong (recent live review Here).
Mudhoney themselves released their eighth album 'The Lucky Ones' last year, as well as celebrating the twentieth anniversary of their debut release and Sub Pop Records' two decades of success.
