Morrissey Intimate New York Date

Singer for Bowery Ballroom

Manchester's patron saint of world weary wit Morrissey has announced three shows in New York in support of his latest album 'Years Of Refusal'.

The former Smiths singer has been dogged by rumours that his former group are set to reform, despite fierce protestations from all parties involved. Morrissey is gearing up to release his new album 'Years Of Refusal' next month, and has announced three dates in New York to celebrate.

Morrissey remains a huge concert attraction in the United States, where he once broke the ticket record for the historic Madison Square gardens venue. The first show takes place in the intimate Bowery Ballroom on March 21st, and will be followed by concerts in Webster Hall and Carnegie Hall. The singer will also make the short trip to New Jersey on March 16th, when he plays the Wellmont Theatre.

Morrissey is set to trail his new album with the single 'I'm Throwing My Arms Around Paris', said to be an ode to architecture.

Morrissey will play the Bowery Ballroom on March 21st.
