Morrissey has been hospitalised with a bleeding ulcer, forcing the singer to postpone several American tour dates.
The past few months haven't been the kindest to Morrissey. The singer was preparing to launch his latest North American tour when his mother took ill, forcing him to return to his native Manchester.
All set to kick off the re-scheduled dates, it seems that Morrissey's own health has intervened. Across the weekend reports emerged that the Smiths legend had been hospitalised in Royal Oak, Michigan where he was “undergoing tests for a suspected bladder infection”.
Later, it was revealed that Morrissey was in fact suffering from a bleeding ulcer. Billboard revealed the details, with shows in Asheville, Nashville, Atlanta, Lawrence, Clear Lake and Lincoln set to be postponed.
The dates are set to be re-scheduled, with the singer having “apologised greatly for any and all inconvenience”.
Get well soon Morrissey!
