Morrissey Album Due
Solo Set Released Next Year
Controversial former Smiths vocalist Morrissey has announced that his new album 'Years Of Refusal' will be released on February 23rd.
It's been quite a year for Morrissey, even by his own gobby standards. A magazine interview has resulted in more than one court case, and the singer has rolled back the years to curate new retrospective 'The Sound Of The Smiths'. Amid rumors of multi-million pound reformations with his former band, the Mancunian singer has quietly worked on new album 'Years Of Refusal'.
Produced by Jerry Finn, the album will be preceded by the single 'I'm Throwing My Arms Around Paris'. The song is not thought to reference Paris Hilton, although we could be wrong. The single will be backed by new tracks 'Because Of My Poor Education' and 'Shame Is The Name'.
'Shame Is The Name' features guest vocals from none other than Pretenders songer Chrissie Hynde.
