Singer Unveils Artwork

Mancunian minister of misery Morrissey is gearing up to release his new album 'Years Of Refusal' on February 23rd, and has previwed his new album sleeve to fans on his website.

The former Smith has had a tumultuous year, with on-going legal action against members of the music press after a controversial interview. The singer has also helped curate a new Smiths retrospective - 'The Sound Of The Smiths' - as well as recording his new album.

'Years Of Refusal' is due to be released on February 23rd and is said to be a re-energized work, with the Salford wordsmith eager to prove his worth all over again.

His first album since 'Ringleader Of The Tormentors' in 2006, the album artwork features the singer clutching a baby. The album will be preceded by the single 'I'm Throwing My Arms Around Paris', and features guest vocals from Pretenders singer Chrissie Hynde.

Produced by Jerry Finn, the album comes as Morrissey celebrates a solo career that stretches back to the release of the single 'Suedehead' in 1988.

Morrissey is set to release his new album 'Years Of Refusal' on February 23rd.
