Hookworms, The Besnard Lakes and more have been added to the line up of this year's Liverpool Psych Fest.
Essentially formed by the collision between rock music and technology, psychedelia has reached new prominence of late. A new wave of bands have emerged, picking up on that classic template and adding some fresh ideas.
So the Liverpool Psych Fest is happening at the right time in the cosmos. Founded last year, the event will return this summer for a wave of mind expanding sounds on the shores of the Mersey.
Running between September 27th - 28th, new announcements include Hookworms. Hailing from Leeds, the quartet's frankly spectacular debut album arrived on our shores earlier this year, winning huge acclaim from everyone lucky enough to come across its gaze.
A ferocious live act, Hookworms are set to play at this year's Liverpool Psych Fest. Other newcomers include The Besnard Lakes, Clinic, Psychic Ills, Ty Segal's new band Fuzz, Holdrug Couple and more have already been confirmed.
Tracking down scene staples, labels such as Sonic Cathedral and Chicago's Trouble In Mind will be taking part.
Tickets are on sale now.
Liverpool Psych Fest runs between September 27th - 28th.
