Launching a new series of summer events, All Tomorrows Parties decided to head to Iceland.
Taking control of a dis-used air-base, ATP Iceland will run between July 10th to 12th. The latest line up announcement contains all manner of treats, including an appearance from Mogwai.
The seminal post-rock group remain a thrilling live experience, and with recent soundtrack project 'Les Revenants' being nominated for the SAY Award the band have plenty of new material to draw on.
Set to play ATP Iceland, Mogwai will be joined by reformed shoegaze legends Slowdive, while long term ATP pals Shellac are also due to travel to the event.
Elsewhere, slowcore dons Low are set to perform alongside Ben Frost, Liars, Swans, Kurt Vile & The Violators, Forest Swords and Devendra Banhart.
ATP founder Barry Hogan: "We are over the moon to announce some of our favourite bands playing Iceland for the very first time. It's only our second year, but we've everyone from ATP royalty like Mogwai and Shellac to bands who've heavily influenced us like Loop and Low. We love Iceland and we can’t wait to get back once again to share this stellar lineup and unique setting with you."
Tickets are on sale now.
ATP Iceland runs between July 10th - 12th.
