After her collaboration with Five O’Clock Heroes, Agyness Deyn has been inspired to form a band of her very own. Her inspiration came from Anthony Ellis, who she admits was the one that got her into playing guitar, their duet “Who” is out on 23rd June.
Ellis is also helping write tracks for Agyness’ new band Gene Jacket. With a sound like The Moldy Peaches and Animal Collective, the band also features Tint Masters of Today’s drummer Jackson Pollis and Alanna Masterson.
The new experimental Indie band is the next step in the Super- Super models career she told the NME that she already has three or four songs that were written at Coachella. One called ‘Hotel’ which was recorded in Japan but with added bits at the festival.
Agyness Deyn's single"Who" is due out on June 23rd.
