Michael Jackson Thriller Revelation

Album was almost scrapped

In a newly discovered interview deceased pop icon Michael Jackson has claimed that his 'Thriller' album was almost scrapped.

Michael Jackson may have already been a veteran by the time 'Thriller' was released, but the album broke new ground both for the performer himself and black artists throughout the United States.

Selling record breaking quantities it remains the world's best selling album to date. In the aftermath of his death, shocked fans of Michael Jackson turned to this album sending it straight to the top of the charts.

However in a newly discovered interview Michael Jackson reveals that the album could well have been scrapped. British tabloid News Of The World reports that the singer considered dropping the project altogether.

"'Thriller' sounded so crap. The mixes sucked," he said. "When we listened to the whole album, there were tears... I just cried like a baby. I stormed out of the room and said, 'We're not releasing this'."

Michael Jackson then revealed that watching schoolkids play helped him regain his composure. "One of the maintenance crew in the studio had a bicycle and so I took it and rode up to the schoolyard," he said. "I just watched the children play. When I came back I was ready to rule the world. I went into the studio and I turned them songs out."

The interview isn't the only undiscovered tape to emerge since Jackson's death. British tabloid The Sun recently revealed that Michael Jackson believed that he could have healed Adolf Hitler in just one hour.
