Reports claim residency will be announced

The former King Of Pop Michael Jackson could be set to snatch back his crown with a massive series of shows at London's O2 Arena.

The one time unrivalled pop genius has fallen on hard times. With a huge auction of his possessions being organised to stave off money worries, Jackson has retreated to Los Angeles to relaunch his career.

Despite reports about the singer's supposed bad health Jackson's spokesman, Tohme Tohme, said "the second half (of Jackson's career) will be better than the first."

According to Sky News the first strike in this new chart invasion will begin in London at the enormous O2 Arena. A press conference has been organised for Thursday (March 5th) which the singer is expected to attend.

Michael Jackson is believed to have signed a contract with promoters for the London venue.

Jackson's residency is expected to outstrip even Prince's marathon 21 night stand, which propelled the 'Purple Rain' star back into the public gaze.

Those shows are fondly remembered as an astonishing display of showbiz glitz, which Michael Jackson will attempt to surpass.
