Michael Jackson Live Return

Rumours hint at O2 arena residency

King of Pop Michael Jackson could be set to reclaim his crown with a massive 30 night O2 Arena residency, if rumours are to be believed.

The troubled singer has battled money problems recently, with fears Jackson could be made bankrupt. The ‘Thriller’ star recently announced details of a massive auction, with items including a limousine and even the fabled gated to his ‘Neverland’ ranch.

Michael Jackson is also locking legal horns with a Middle Eastern sheikh, who claims the singer owes him an album as part of a management deal.

Despite his many troubles, Jackson’s spokesman, Tohme Tohme, recently said “the second half (of Jackson’s career) will be better than the first.”

According to The Daily Telegraph talks are currently ongoing between Jackson and AEG Live. The rumoured residency could earn Jackson a potential £45 million in ticket sales alone.

Fellow 80s star Prince recently hosted a massive 21 night run at the arena, which became a massive talking point in the music world. Fans jetted in from around the world to see the show, with Prince’s profile rising considerably from the back of the spectacular concerts.
