Mew Live Album Plans

Download only release confirmed

Danish mavericks Mew have confirmed details of their first ever live album, due for release next month.

While Scandinavia might not be renowned as a musical hotbed, in recent times the area has given us a host of stunning acts. Mixing the arts scene with music a number of bands have emerged who blend the physical with the cerebral.

Formed in a suburb of Copenhagen, Denmark's Mew have broken boundaries and demonstrated how much a band from Scandinavia can achieve. Over the course of a decade the band have score critical and commercial success far beyond their homeland.

The band returned this year with their spectacularly titled new album. In full the album was named:

No more stories
Are told today
I’m sorry
They washed away

No more stories
The world is grey
I’m tired
Let’s wash away

Matching its cryptic and poetic title, the music within 'No More Stories...' was some of the band's most spectacular to date. Mew are now set to reward fans with their first ever live album.

Cult heroes in the United States, Mew recorded their recent show at the Hollywood Palladium. Containing some career highlights alongside new material the album will be available as a download only release.
