Metallica In Guns N Roses Video

Legendary Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich is set to appear in the video for the forthcoming Guns N Roses single 'Better'.
Metallica and Guns N Roses very nearly turned 2008 into the year of rawk, with both groups unexpectedly releasing albums. Guns N Roses' album 'Chinese Democracy' was the group's first in 17 years, and the two bands are familiar with each other after a notorious tour in 1992.
Coming at a point when the two acts were amongst the biggest on the planet, the tour came when Guns N Roses were still known as 'the most dangerous band on the planet'. Riots and fall outs followed, but singer Axl Rose is still apparently friendly with Metallica.
In a new interview with US magazine Rolling Stone Ulrich denies holding up the video after it emerged the Guns N Roses camp wanted to use a picture of him. “When it got to me, I signed off on the one clip… I don’t know where (the rumor) came from,” he said.
“I’d love to be in a Guns n’ Roses video. It’s my favourite song on the record — I think it’s a great song.”
He added: “I can’t wait for the video to come out. There’s a shot of me and Axl embracing backstage at some concert, and I signed off that, and hopefully it’ll make it in the final cut."
Guns N Roses were scheduled to release 'Better' over Christmas. It is not known when the single will emerge.
