US psychedelic group Mercury Rev are set to return with new single 'Butterfly's Wings' due to be released on November 17th.

Mercury Rev's new single 'Butterfly's Wings' is taken from the group's new album 'Snowflake Midnight'. An awe-inspiring burst of wide eyed psychedelia, it demonstrated that Jonathan Donahue's band of musical visionaries still have a thirst for innovation. Combining lush songwriting with a shrewd use of electronics 'Snowflake Midnight' is one of the band's most complete albums to date.

'Butterfly's Wing' is released on November 17th and comes backed with two fantastic remixes by Isan and Carlos Anthony Molina. A brilliant single, it captures the band in their full sonic glory. A limited edition 12” remix package will also be released featuring the aforementioned mixes as well as previous single 'Senses On Fire' remixed by Fujiya and Miyagi and James Holden.

Mercury Rev release 'Snowflake Midnight' on November 17th. The band will also tour the following venues:
