Glasvegas, Razorlight, Kasabian and many more are set to unite for this year's Mencap sessions events which are due to kick off on November 8th.

Launched two years ago to raise awareness of the Mencap charity, and the inspiring work they do, the Mencap Sessions gather together some of the biggest and best names in modern music for some very special gigs.

Set in the stunning surroundings of the Union Chapel in London, this year's events are set to be every special indeed. Kicking off with epic Scots rockers Glasvegas on November 8th, the Mencap sessions run for eleven consecutive nights of top entertainment.

Also on the bill this year are Razorlight, Stereophonics, James Morrison, Kasabian, Keane and Fratellis, with up and coming talent include Cage The Elephant, Esser, Florence And The Machine and Red Light Company.

As usual with the Mencap Sessions, all gigs are stripped down acoustic affairs in a beautifully intimate setting allowing acts to showcase a different aspect of their music than is normally appreciated.

To buy tickets you must register on the official Mencap site anytime between October 1st and October 16th. The performances begin on November 8th and end on November 19th.
