Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine embarked on a bizarre rant against Barack Obama during a recent show.

The issue of gun control remains deeply divisive in the United States. Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine clearly has extremely strong views on the subject, and recently expressed them in a bizarre way during a live show.

Performing in Singapore recently, Megadeth paused to allow Dave Mustaine to introduce the next track. Speaking to the audience, the frontman accused President Obama of "staging" recent massacres.

The Huffington Post broke the news, and tracked down a video featuring the rant. Mustaine told the crowd:

"Back in my country, my president is trying to pass a gun ban, so he's staging all of these murders. The 'Fast and Furious' thing down at the border. And Aurora, Colorado, all the people that were killed there. And now, the beautiful people at the Sikh temple. ... I don't know where I'm going to live if America keeps going the way it's going because it looks like it's turning into Nazi America."

It seems that Dave Mustane is fond of conservative statements - Pitchfork point to a past report in which the Megadeth frontman repeatedly accused Barack Obama of having been born in Kenya.

Megadeth have not commented on the reports. Watch the incident below.
