McCartney To Re-Launch Food Range

Vegetarian meal range to resume

Sir Paul McCartney is to bring back his late wife Linda's range of vegetarian meals.

As well as being a photographer and best selling musician with Wings, Linda McCartney was a noted animal rights activist. A staunch vegetarian she went on to become a celebrated cook, and produced her own range of healthy alternatives to meat based products.

The 'Linda McCartney Range' was discontinued after she died, but her former partner Sir Paul McCartney intends to bring them back.

A source said: "Marketing experts felt Linda's food needed revamping and Paul was obviously keen to help out. Paul knows how proud Linda was of the food range and reckons she'd be pleased with the new image."

The new range will feature photography by daughter Mary, as well as input from Sir Paul McCartney. The new range will come with a snappy new tagline: Food To Come Home To.

In a recent interview the former Beatle revealed he still eats Linda McCartney's recipes at Christmas.

"The first year we went veggie, me and Linda had all the trimmings but we needed something to replace the turkey. So Linda made macaroni cheese. It kind of worked so we called it the macaroni turkey."

"Today I have moved on, I have the Linda McCartney roast."
