Maximo Park have had a hugely successful 2007, with a new album and a sold out UK tour to boast of. Now, though, they'll be the toast of every bar in their hometown of Newcastle as they have been invited to design their own Newcastle Brown Ale label.
Tyneside Brewers Scottish and Newcastle UK bestow this honour only on a special chosen few, with the only previous recipient being ex-Newcastle United and England legend Alan Shearer. Its quite a privilege, and will see tens of thousands of “Maximo Brown Ale” becoming available in selected bars on the same day as a huge arena homecoming show for the band.
