With Scarlett Johansson...

Massive Attack have completed a new collaboration with actress Scarlett Johansson.

Massive Attack don't tend to rush into things. Returning with new album 'Heligoland' the Bristol group ended a silence which had lasted almost seven years.

Promising a remix version courtesy of Burial, fans have refused to hold their breaths for new material. However the group recently returned to the studio, working with a surprise collaborator.

'Lost In Translation' actress Scarlett Johansson has added her vocals to a new track from the trip hop legends. 'Summertime' is a brand new song, and features as the main theme to a new movie.

WENN reports that Massive Attack allowed 'Summertime' to be used on the score for Mexican movie 'Days Of Grace'. The film recently premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in France, and tells the story of three different characters during three separate World Cup competitions.

Rewarded with some outstanding reviews, 'Days Of Grace' opens with Scarlett Johansson's production and Massive Attack's production.

Sadly, there has been no announcement as yet on British screenings. Taken from the soundtrack, hopefully the track will gain a a wider release when 'Days Of Grace' hits British cinemas.

Massive Attack are, predictably enough, lying low right now. However Scarlett Johansson has thrown herself into a number of projects including another new track for a film soundtrack.

'One Whole Hour' appears as part of a forthcoming documentary on autism entitled 'Wretches & Jabberers'.

The actress first broke into music after recording a Tom Waits covers album in 2009. The actually pretty good 'Wherever I Lay My Head' was then followed by an extensive collaboration with Pete Yorn.

'Days Of Grace' will gain a wider release next year.
