Martin Gore / Vince Clarke Album

'Ssss' due on March 12th

Vince Clarke and Martin Gore will release their collaborative album 'Ssss' on March 12th.

Two seminal figures in the development of British electronic music, Vince Clarke and Martin Gore began a collaborative project last year. Releasing an EP of new material, 'EP1/ Spock' was a challenging, engrossing selection which found two esteemed producers refusing to rest on their laurels.

'EP2/ Single Blip' is forthcoming, with Vince Clarke and Martin Gore now confirmed plans for a full album.

Titled 'Ssss' - have they been paying to Witch House, we wonder? - the album is due to be released on March 5th. Mute are stepping in to handle the full length, following their work on the duo's recent EP.

Working either side of the Atlantic, 'Ssss' was constructed largely via email with files shuffling back and forth across the pond until the LP was ready. Written and produced by the Clarke / Gore partnership, 'Ssss' was mixed by Timothy “Q” Wiles, recorded and engineered by Sie Medway Smith and Vince Clarke and mastered by Stefan Betke (aka Pole).
