Madness bring back event

For the first time in over a decade the nutty boys of Madness will be allowed to run riot at their very own Madstock event.

One of the biggest pop acts of the 80s, Madness transcended their ska-punk roots to become a hugely successful hit making machine. The group scored hit single after hit single, evolving into a well respected songwriting outfit.

The band's Madstock events were a massive success, with one in 1992 attracting over 100,000 fans. According to urban myth, pogoing fans caused seismic activity outside the arena.

With 2-Tone celebrating its 30th anniversary and close friends The Specials reforming, there has never been a better time for Madness to dig out their harringtons and porkpie hats.

A massively influential cultural force, 2-Tone released Madness' first single 'The Prince' way back in the day.

But Madness aren't going on a nostalgia trip. The ever creative group have been working on their new album with the results due out later this year.

Madness will release their new album 'The Liberty Of Norton Folgate' in May. Madstock details below:
