'Nice Effort' indeed...

As Tuesdays go, this is a particularly good one.

Celebrated dance producer, one half of Sepalcure / Jets, LuckyMe signee and general bass overlord Machinedrum is giving away a bumper pack of remixes via the good people over at Mixmag. In this collection entitled ‘Nice Effort’, Travis Stewart has collected remixes that were ‘rejected, unreleased or just straight up unfinished’ that he’s crafted between 2005 and 2010.

2012 saw him preoccupied with his JETS project - teaming up with Jimmy Edgar - and the last solo offering from the producer was his SXLND EP in early 2012, as well as a special Halloween VIP of ‘Alarma’, also released for free.

Including reworks of Missy Elliot’s ‘Lose Control’, Aaliyah, XV and others, T-Stew has injected his signature slow-fast rhythms and classy 90s house vibes into fourteen tracks. Undertaking a slow conquest of the dance world, Machinedrum tweeted ‘I DO THIS OUT OF LOVE’.

And we love you too. Head over to Mixmag’s Soundcloud to grab it while it’s still hot.
