M83 Vinyl Re-Issue

French electronic act M83 is set to give fans an early Christmas present by re-releasing all their studio albums on vinyl for the very first time.

Centered on the ethereal talents of Anthony Gonzalez, the French electronica act have earned a cult following due to their shoegazing influenced style. At times almost bordering on post rock and even ambient music, M83's music is never less than enticingly beautiful.

Beginning with their self-titled debut, Mute Record will re-release each of M83's albums. Those consist of the following: 2003's 'Dead Cities', 'Red Seas & Lost Ghosts', 2005's 'Before The Dawn Heals Us', last year's 'Digital Shades Vol. 1' and the recent 'Saturdays=Youth'.

Each will be a double LP, with each release coming complete with a bonus CD. M83 is currently completing a massive European tour with Kings Of Leon, cementing his reputation as one of the best live electronic performers around.

The M83 re-issue project begins on November 25th.
