LTJ Bukem is set to play a one off London show at KOKO on January 12th.
Coming of age in the white heat explosion of the rave era, LTJ Bukem added a jazz sensibility to the often brutal world of UK Hardcore. As Jungle evolved, the producer was perfectly placed to take advantage of the radical changes in electronic music, adding a soulful feel to those tumultuous Amen breaks.
Returning to London for a one off show, the bass legend will raid the historic confines of KOKO. Pushing the soundsystem to the limit, LTJ Bukem will roll out of a few classics alongside his usual array of jazz-infused drum and bass grooves.
A SoundCrash show, the one off date sees LTJ Bukem joined by an array of guests. Grooverider is an absolute drum 'n' bass legend, and his ruffneck take on the style will blow away any lingering cobwebs after the Christmas break.
Elsewhere, the Trojan Soundsystem will be on hand for the latest JA grooves. Mixing up classic soundsystem vibes with the latest dubplates, the Trojan Soundsystem remains a perennial dancefloor institution rocking venues across the globe.
Taking part in this one off show, the Trojan Soundsystem will line up with a few special guests and - as ever - madness on the mic. With early bird tickets priced at just £5 this looks to be a great opportunity to indulge in a New Year bass orgy.
