Little Boots Single Plans
'Earthquake' to be new release
Electro-pop pixie Little Boots is set to follow up her Top 10 single 'Remedy' with new track 'Earthquake' on November 16th.
Real name Victoria Hesketh, Little Boots has had a long musical apprenticeship. Attempting to audition for X Factor the singer then began singing jazz standards in an effort to get by.
Falling in love with the music she was hearing in clubs, Little Boots began producing her own material. Blending pulsating electro-house with a neat pop touch the singer quickly began attracting the attention of major labels.
Part of a trio of much hyped female talent (hello Florence, La Roux) Little Boots took her time in conquering the charts. However recent single 'Remedy' flew into the Top Ten on the back of a series of spectacular festival shows.
Singing 'Happy Birthday' to a lucky fan at Leeds Festival, Little Boots then set about crafting a new mixtape. Free to download, the mix contained some of her favourite tracks alongside demos and remixes.
Now Little Boots is set to return with her new single. Victoria Hesketh is due to release 'Earthquake' on November 16th, with the Greg Kurstin produced track set to hit the upper echelons of the charts.
Pure trance pop the track contains the stunning chorus: “Every time you hurt me, I know that it’s working – making you mine. Every clap of thunder only makes me stronger on the inside.”
Speaking about the forthcoming single, Little Boots said “I'm really pleased 'Earthquake' is the next single, it's really fun to play live and gets a great reception and I think its quite representative of the album as a whole.”
