Little Boots Expands Winter Tour

One of 2009's breakthrough stars Little Boots is due to expand her upcoming winter tour.

Real name Victoria Hesketh, Little Boots is far from an overnight sensation. Having once auditioned for Pop Idol the singer's pop ambitions were clear, but a spell singing in a jazz group shows her individuality.

Retreating to her bedroom with a synth and a laptop for company, Little Boots began working on a new electro-pop inspired direction. With her early demos attracting a flurry of attention the singer finally gained the record deal she craved.

Debut album 'Hands' was released earlier this year and became an immediate hit. Little Boots sits at the forefront of a new wave of British female talent, with the singer working alongside the likes of La Roux, Florence & The Machine and more.

After a spell touring the 'Illuminations EP' in the United States the electro singer is due to return home for a series of UK tour dates. Opening with a show in Northampton on October 21st, Little Boots will traverse the country as the temperatures plunge.

Adding a show in London's famous Shepherd's Bush Empire the tour will now close in Leeds on December 12th.

To keep fans busy throughout the winter months Little Boots has confirmed details of a new single. 'Earthquake' is taken from her debut album and is a refreshing blast of electro pop - just the thing for the chilly winter months.

Little Boots is set to release 'Earthquake' on November 16th. The singer has confirmed the following UK tour dates:
