Wonderful neo-soul with a gritty UK slant...
Yazmin Lacey

Rising Nottingham vocalist Yazmin Lacey has shared wonderful new single '90 Degrees'.

The neo-soul talent released her debut EP 'Black Moon' last year, a mixture sumptuous songwriting and strikingly personal lyricism delivered in a soulful style.

A Brownswood Future Bubblers graduate, her jazz-influenced style is both effortlessly laid back and superbly controlled.

Working with First Word Records the singer has shared new song '90 Degrees', a supple gospel-tinged return that provides a snapshot of Yazmin's world.

She explains: “’90 Degrees’ is about that time of the day / night when there’s a shift in pace and energy. When you decide to lock off from the ‘outside’ world and create your own atmosphere, take some time to give thanks for what’s breathing love into your life and smoke off the fuckeries. Everyone needs a little routine for self preservation.”

Tune in now.
