Ahead of their new album...
The Elwins

Canadian indie-pop act The Elwins have unveiled the fun new video for their track ‘Forgetful Assistance’, due for release on April 22nd.

Featuring the bands hands performing a choreographed dance with four iPhones and an iPad, the video depicts a mini romance with a smattering of interesting props. Directed by Michael Schmidt, it took three months of preparation and 19 takes to complete.

A lo-fi, melodic gem from their jangly debut album, ‘And I Thank You’ (released in the UK on July 15th), ‘Forgetful Assistance’ is the band’s debut UK single and will be backed by a spiky indie cover of Beyonce’s ‘Countdown’ (featuring Born Ruffians’ Luke LaLonde).

Watch it now.

The band are also set to tour the UK in May, playing Great Escape in Brighton and shows in London and Manchester. Check out the tour dates below.

Sunday 12th London - Old Queens Head
Monday 13th Manchester - The Castle (w/Royal Canoe)
Tuesday 14th London - The Lexington (w/Royal Canoe and Ha Ha Tonka)
Thursday 16th Brighton - The Blind Tiger (The Great Escape)
