House given an intense, introverted overhaul...

Gradually shifting away from his bass roots, Skream's recent productions - and, indeed, his mixes - have veered towards house and neo-disco.

Yet the producer isn't one to play by the rules. New cut 'Let It Go' has just gone online, and it's a world away from the frothy pop-house of Route 94 et al.

Shuffling on a Chicago beat, Skream adds in layers of intense introversion and paranoia. Designed for use in a smaller club setting - rather than the grand outdoor affairs Oli Jones is probably becoming used to - it's a sheer weapon from the off.
