Born in Brussels, Oceaán has never settled.
Spending time in Denmark, the producer now operates in Manchester but there's a real sense of dis-location, of alienation running through his music.
The splintered, ethereal gauze of 'Need U' brought Oceaán huge attention at the close of 2013, before the producer hooked up with Chess Club.
A new EP - strictly self-titled - drops on March 31st, the producer's most succinct document yet. Ahead of this, new cut 'To Lose' has been placed online - and it finds Oceaán raising the bar.
Utilising fragmentary vocals and a stuck-in-syrup R&B beat, the cold, shrill intro gives way to lush, languid atmospherics.
Tune in below.
'Oceaán' is set to be released on March 31st.
