As new EP 'Pastel & Pass Out' approaches...
No Joy

No Joy have shared new cut 'Second Spine' as the 'Pastel & Pass Out' EP reaches record shops across the land.

No Joy began as a raucous, ramshackle blend of feedback, jangling guitars and drums which seemed to collapse in a heap during the middle eight. Gradually expanding to become a mature, sophisticated pop experience, the band have added synth-whispers and sighing-production to their armoury.

Second album 'Second Spine' emerged earlier this year, demonstrating a remarkable breadth to the band's songwriting. Since then, No Joy have completed work on a standalone EP - an EP which allows them further space to experiment.

'Pastel & Pass Out' is out now via Mexican Summer, and to celebrate the label have posted new track 'Second Spine'. Deeply atmospheric, it's the perfect soundtrack to watch the leaves tumble down from the trees.

Listen to it now.

No Joy have confirmed the following UK shows:

5 Glasgow Broadcast
7 Leeds Brudenell Social Club
9 Bristol Start the Bus
10 Brighton The Green Door Store
11 London Bethnal Green Working Mens Club
