Dub legend Lee 'Scratch' Perry has stepped in to remix Forest Swords – listen to the results now.
The infinite universe of dub will never be mapped out. The possibilities of the echo chamber continue to inspire, with a new breed of production talent stamping their identity on the form.
Forest Swords' new album 'Engravings' is indebted to dub exploration, alongside a host of other influences. Check out the Clash review HERE.
In a surprise move, Lee 'Scratch' Perry has stepped in to remix the Wirral producer. The Jamaican legend is fresh from a joint project with The Orb, and although he rarely takes part in remixes which he does the results tend to be extraordinary.
Re-fueling 'Thor's Stone' with some JA energy, Perry adds a vocal of his own to the mix. Forest Swords: "It's an honour that Lee loved the track and reworked it at his studio in Jamaica. He's been a huge influence, and has been behind some of the most legendary records ever cut, so for him to want to add his own flair and energy to Thor's Stone is pretty unbelievable for me, and a genuine life highlight."
