One of the year's most discussed newcomers, Kwabs has already reached a certain prominence.
So it seems strange to talk about his debut single. Yet that's exactly what 'Walk' is - it's the first time fans have had a chance to pay cash money for the London artist's music.
Premiering on Mistajam's 1Xtra show last night (August 13th) 'Walk' will be released through Atlantic on September 29th.
Available to stream online, here's a few introductory words from Kwabs: “I’m really excited about 'Walk'. I wrote it late last year with Jonny Lattimer, about half-way through writing for the album. I guess it's about that age-old problem: 'I wanna stay but I've gotta leave...' I think people will get that. It is definitely coming at an exciting time for me too..."
"I've had a hectic festival run this summer, performing at Wireless, Glastonbury, Latitude and SGP and there are plenty more to come as well as my next London show at KOKO in October. I was humbled to see how quickly that one sold out and look forward to sharing more music and live experiences with my amazing fans.”
