Jessy Lanza

In one fell swoop Jessy Lanza added some serious depth to the current glut of electronic soul performers.

Debut album 'Pull My Hair Back' was released last year, matching lush R&B textures to adventurous production and often searingly personal songwriting.

Signed to Hyperdub, Jessy Lanza was a natural choice for the label's new compilation 'Hyperdub 10.2'.

The second in a series of tenth anniversary compilations, the material is aimed at the more soulful, R&B inclined end of the label's output.

New cut 'You And Me' contains one of the Canadian artist's sweetest vocals, cutting against the cold, clinical Futurism of the production.

Check it out below.

'Hyperdub 10.2' will be released on July 21st - pre-orders received 'You And Me' as an immediate free download so, y'know, g'wan and treat yourself.
