Jackson And His Computerband has placed new track 'Arp #1' online - listen to it now.
Based in Paris, Jackson Fourgeaud's debut album 'Smash' made a terrific impact on its release in 2005. Coming at a time when the French capital was buzzing with new electro acts, the producer seemed to add a searingly intelligent edge to his surroundings.
Long awaited follow up 'Glow' arrives in September, with the French artist delivering another preview. 'Arp #1' - no doubt named after the iconic synth - opens with sharp drum cracks and staccato noises derived from IDM.
Yet there's a playful edge, one that nods towards the resurgent disco scene.
Listen to it below.
Discussing 'Glow' recently the producer said: "'Glow' is a game of musical obsessions and rageous pleasures. I've made it driven by feverish moments of revelation and sharing them with my friends. The live show opens a territory of everlasting changes and real time communion with the audience. My Computerband is now fully alive."
'Glow' is set to be released on September 2nd.
