'Beautiful Rewind' previews continue...

Four Tet has posted new track 'Parallel Jalebi' - listen to it below.

Four Tet is going it alone. Kieren Hebden is working without label support, foregoing the PR industry to use his Twitter feed as a medium to keep fans updated.

New album 'Beautiful Rewind' was announced earlier this year, and is due to be released via his own Text imprint. Preview cut 'Kool FM' paid homage to the pirate radio scene of the early 90s, and caused no end of social media based consternation.

Posted online with nary an introduction, 'Parallel Jalebi' should pass by without the same level of debate. A departure from his recent UK garage-flecked sound, the track utilises some R&B hymnals, while the dense, brittle rhythm is hardly standard club fare.

It's an engaging work, though, one which finds Hebden experimenting with form and structure - check out that wonky breakdown to see what we mean.

Listen to it below.
