Dilla Soul?
De La Soul

De La Soul have been bearers of positive vibes.

After all, debut album '3 Feet High & Rising' managed to mash Johnny Cash with raw 70s funk, placing some deft rhymes and hilarious skits on top.

Recently deciding to make their entire back catalogue available online - and there's a lot more to explore besides their esteemed debut, too - the group are back in the news.

De La Soul have posted new cut 'Dilla Plugged In', which matches prime Daisy Age rhymes with a selection of beats from J Dilla's catalogue.

It's surprisingly successful, playing off the shares influences between both acts. Part of the wider 'Smell the D.A.I.S.Y.' mixtape, this is a good morning for fans of golden hip hop.
