The first samples from Beck's contribution to upcoming computer game 'Cities' have emerged online.

Beck seems to be in the middle of a rather strange creative period. The American artist is tackling some odd projects, whether they be covering classic albums in their entirety or crafting a one off single with Jack White.

Earlier this year the songwriter confirmed his involvement with 'Cities'. A Sound Shapes project, the upcoming release apparently fuses the interactivity of a computer game with a musical instrument.

All told, Beck has completed three new tracks for the game: 'Cities', 'Touch the People', and 'Spiral Staircase'.
