Lily Allen Plays Secret London Show
Singer returns to her first ever stage
After recently announcing her plans to play a secret show in London, Lily Allen last night did just that by returning to the site of her first ever stage performance - at Notting Hill's Tabernacle in London.
The event was planned after Allen took part in the current 'Secret MySpace' shows across the city, with fans able to apply for tickets and are then told of the venue and location by text beforehand.
Known for her love of fancy dress, the singer chose a theme of London tube stations for the show, with fans turning up decked-out in rabbit masks and bird suits (the former symbolizing Warren Street, the latter Canary Wharf). Allen meanwhile played her entire set dressed as Queen Victoria.
Second album 'It's Not Me It's You' was played in its entirety at the show, which was Allen's first at the venue since playing a school pantomime aged five, in which she played a frog.
The singer, who is currently in the top 10 with new single 'It's Not Fair', is set for a busy summer, with a series of festival dates including T In The Park and V Festival as well as a full UK tour this November.
