Liam Gallagher On Street View

A new phenomenon sweeping the nation, Google's new street view service appears to have caught Oasis singer Liam Gallagher.

Launched by Google as an updated version of its GoogleEarth program, Street View has been met with acclaim and fury alike. Across the nation office workers are spending hours searching for their house and usual haunts, plunging a recession ridden economy further into crisis.

However it's not all fun and games. Privacy campaigners have heavily criticised the site, which they argue has not gone far enough to protect the identity of members of the public caught on camera.

Lobby group Privacy International yesterday (March 25th) went as far as filing a formal complaint against the company. An international program, Google Street View can expect a few more cases like this.

Strangely, one member of the public caught up in the row is none other than Oasis singer Liam Gallagher. Fans claim the iconic frontman can be seen outside of a pub in Camden, London despite Gallagher having his face blurred by Google's new technology.

Fan Craig Cooper spotted the figure and immediately informed British red top The Sun, as you do. “If there’s one man you’d recognise having a pint, it’s Liam Gallagher,” he added. “He’s often in The Queens.”

Adding to the mystery an Oasis spokeswoman told the tabloid that it could "very possibly" be Liam Gallagher, who is believed to have been in London when the images were taken.

The hunt is on for more celebrity musicians caught on Street View. Have you spotted Chris Martin heading into Oxfam? Bono stopping off for a McDonalds? Or even Michael Jackson collecting a massive bag of money from the bank?
