Led Zeppelin Tour Off

This time it's definite...

Peter Mensch, the outspoken manager of Jimmy Page, has given a new interview in which he claimed there was absolutely no chance of the band ever performing together again.

Led Zeppelin have been dogged by reformation rumours since their performance in 2007 at the Ahmet Ertegun tribute concert. Held in the O2 Arena, there were over 1 million applications for just 9000 tickets, with the band apparently greatly enjoying being back together.

Led Zeppelin originally split in 1980 following the death of drummer John Bonham. Bonham son Jason took charge of the drum stool for the 2007 performance.

Mensch fuelled these rumours in a recent BBC 6Music interview, but it seems as if any proposed reformation is off. In another interview with Musicradar Mensch said "Led Zeppelin are over. If you didn't see them in 2007, you missed them. It's done. I can't be any clearer than that."

Jeez, Mensch, break it to us gently!

"They tried out a few singers, but no one worked out. That was it. The whole thing is completely over now. There are absolutely no plans for them to continue. Zero. Frankly, I wish everybody would stop talking about it."
